The uptime brief
NV TECHSOL redesigned and re-cabled an aging Greater Noida campus network — structured cabling, managed switching, Wi-Fi 7 and a new perimeter firewall — inside a 60-hour window.
The challenge
Fifteen-year-old cabling, unmanaged switches daisy-chained across floors, and Wi-Fi dead zones in half the classrooms. Any weekday downtime meant cancelled classes, so the client demanded a cutover with zero teaching hours lost.
Two-week survey producing floor-by-floor heatmaps, a cable schedule and a labelled port map before any work began.
Staged pre-build: switch stacks configured and racked off-site, access points bench-tested against the controller.
60-hour weekend cutover with a 14-person crew working floor by floor against a published rollback plan.
Monday-morning floor walk with live support desks on each floor; punch-list closed within five days.
